Bargain hunting for children's home

On 18/10/2015 at 11 am the whole thing started. The garage sale opened its gates under a sunny sky and offered for sale a potpourri of useful things for home and leasure, lots of toys, children's book and small gifts.
Brigitte and Bodo Ehrlich had invitingly prepared their premises at Bromberger Straße so that besides  hunting for bargains among hundreds of flea market items the customers did also enjoy the donated cakes and fresh wafers with coffee.
Thanks to the excellent wheather many guests, interested visitors and buyers dropped in to look out for the "special bargain" and to chat.
Much to our surprise a journalist of the newspaper Neuen Deister Zeitung passed by in the afternoon to write a little report, which was published the following Tuesday.
All in all, it was a very successful day - a lot of stuff was sold and our donation box was filled abundantly. The total proceeds of the flea market amount to an impressive amount of 500,-€.
It goes without saying, that as always the proceed goes 100% to the children's home.
